Intro
I love working on software apps, getting to grips with user interfaces and understanding how people react to them. We’re all unique and respond in different ways to each situation we’re presented with. It’s about understanding human nature, developing empathy, and that moment where it suddenly clicks into place and your eyes are wide open again, everything in glorious technicolour. Love it.
And snowboarding, I’ll take that too.

Background
I qualified as an accountant too many years ago and followed a path in finance through to overall company management. I’ve been an accountant, financial controller, finance director, managing director, and CEO. I’ve worked in chemical factories, small accountants, massive construction firms, and finance companies.
I finally found my happy place in web apps and start ups, that’s where I find my motivation and drive.
I’m based in Manchester, but crave a view of the beach - maybe one day.
Outside work
I’m a family man; one amazing wife, three beautiful children. I’m learning to surf, I cycle a bit, run a bit, snowboard not enough.
